GH4145 alloy is mainly a nickel-based high-temperature alloy strengthened by aging with γ[Ni3(Al, Ti, Nb)] phase. It has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance below 980℃, high strength below 800℃, good relaxation resistance below 540℃, and good forming and welding properties. This alloy is mainly used to manufacture plane springs and spiral springs for aircraft engines that work below 800℃ and require high strength and relaxation resistance. It can also be used to manufacture parts such as turbine blades for gas turbines. Available varieties include plates, strips, bars, forgings, rings, wires and pipes.

GH4145 (GH145) alloy process performance and requirements:
1. GH4145 (GH145) high temperature alloy forming performance: The alloy is easy to form at a forging temperature between 1220 and 950℃. The heating temperature of the ingot forging can be 1200℃. In order to obtain good structure and performance of the final forging or bar, the subsequent forging heating temperature should be carried out at a relatively low temperature. The final forging temperature should not be lower than 950℃. The alloy should be solution treated after the intense forming process.
2. GH4145 (GH145) high temperature alloy welding performance: The alloy has good welding performance and can be used for various welding, but it is difficult to perform fusion welding on parts with large cross-sections, while it has better welding performance on parts with small cross-sections and thin plates. Welding must be carried out after annealing or solution treatment, and stress relief treatment should be carried out after welding, using 980℃, moisturizing for 0.5h or 900℃ moisturizing for 2h. The welded assembly is then aged to obtain a strength close to that of the fully heat treated state.
3. Heat treatment process of GH4145 (GH145) high temperature alloy parts: The heat treatment of parts should be carried out in a sulfur-free neutral or reducing atmosphere to avoid sulfidation. Parts should avoid "hot-cold" treatment between 870 and 650 ° C. For parts with large cross-sections, in order to prevent cracks, they should be cooled in air after solution treatment.
