Nickel Alloy 400 Seamless Condenser Tube Information

Nickel Alloy 400 tubing, also known as Monel 400 (UNS N04400), is a nickel-copper alloy tubing with excellent corrosion resistance, particularly to seawater, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid. It possesses excellent mechanical strength and toughness over a wide temperature range and can be hardened only by cold working. Applications for seamless Alloy 400 condenser tubing include heat exchangers, marine equipment, and chemical processing equipment.

What is the composition of Monel 400 pipe?

Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy (approximately 67% nickel - 23% copper) that is resistant to high-temperature seawater and steam, as well as saline and alkaline solutions. Alloy 400 is a solid solution alloy that can only be hardened by cold working.
