CuW 75 Tungsten Alloy video
CuW75 composites contain 75% tungsten and are widely used in chip carriers, substrates, flanges and frames for power semiconductor devices. Copper's high thermal conductivity combined with tungsten's low thermal expansion allows its thermal expansion to match that of silicon, gallium arsenide and certain ceramics. Other materials suitable for this application are copper-molybdenum alloys, AlSiC and Dymalloy.
