CuW 65 Tungsten Alloy
Composed of pure tungsten (W) powder suspended in a copper (Cu) matrix, these alloys are easy to process and offer good thermal and electrical conductivity, low thermal expansion, non-magnetic properties, good vacuum properties and corrosion resistance from the arc. Therefore, they are often used as electrical contacts, especially in high voltage applications. Most sizes and shapes are available with short lead times. We can also manufacture parts from these materials to your specifications.
