GH3536 is a Ni-Cr-Fe-based solid solution strengthened deformed high-temperature alloy. When used in casting, the corresponding grade is K4536. The alloy has moderate durability and creep strength below 900°C; it has good oxidation and corrosion resistance, good hot and cold processing formability and welding performance.

Product Introduction

GH3536 (also known as Hastelloy X) is a nickel-based superalloy strengthened by solid solution of Cr and Mo elements, which is widely used in gas turbine engines and petrochemical reactors due to its excellent high temperature strength, toughness and corrosion resistance. Most GH3536 alloys are used in extreme climate conditions with high temperature, high oxidation degree and long-term thermal cycling.

GH3536 Alloy Mechanical properties

1. Tensile strength: At room temperature, the tensile strength of GH3536 can reach about 1000 MPa. As the temperature rises, its tensile strength will decrease, but it can still maintain a high strength level.

2. Yield strength: The yield strength of GH3536 is also very high, reaching more than 500 MPa at room temperature. This gives the alloy good plastic deformation ability when subjected to load.

3. Elongation: At room temperature, the elongation of GH3536 can reach more than 15%. This shows that the alloy is able to undergo large plastic deformation when subjected to tensile stress, thereby improving its fracture toughness.

GH3536 Superalloy has excellent heat resistance and can work for a long time in high temperature environment without obvious performance degradation. Its heat resistance is mainly reflected in oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and creep resistance. In high temperature oxidation environment, GH3536 can form a dense oxide film to effectively protect the alloy matrix from further oxidation; in high temperature corrosion environment, the alloy also shows good corrosion resistance; under high temperature creep conditions, GH3536 has a low creep rate and can maintain good dimensional stability.
