4130 Hot-Rolled Chromoly Steel Tube is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel tube produced by hot rolling process, with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and good processing adaptability. The tube is made of 4130 chromium-molybdenum steel (C 0.28-0.33%, Cr 0.8-1.1%, Mo 0.15-0.25%) as raw material, rolled at high temperature, retaining the uniform structure and good mechanical properties of the material. The hot rolling process makes the tube have high production efficiency and economy, suitable for mass production, and the typical specification range is 20-500mm outer diameter, 2.5-50mm wall thickness, and up to 18 meters in length.

In terms of mechanical properties, after quenching and tempering heat treatment, the tensile strength of 4130 hot-rolled tube can reach 670-850MPa, the yield strength is 435-700MPa, the elongation is 12-20%, and the impact energy is not less than 40J at 20°C, while maintaining a density of 7.85g/cm³. Its chromium-molybdenum alloy composition provides good hardenability and fatigue resistance, and is particularly suitable for working conditions with alternating loads. The surface of the hot-rolled tube is usually covered with oxide scale (Ra 3.2-12.5μm), and the surface quality can be improved by subsequent processing such as sandblasting and turning.

4130 hot-rolled tube is widely used in heavy industrial fields such as oil and gas (drill collars, casing), engineering machinery (crane booms, excavator structures), energy and power (boiler components, pressure pipelines), etc. Its advantages are: 1) High cost performance, 30-50% lower cost than cold-rolled tubes; 2) Good welding performance, suitable for large structural parts manufacturing; 3) Excellent thick-wall forming ability, can produce pipes with a wall thickness of up to 50mm. It should be noted that stress relief annealing must be performed after welding, and preheating process is recommended for thick-walled tube processing to avoid cracking. With its excellent strength-toughness balance and scale production advantages, 4130 hot-rolled tube has become one of the preferred materials for key components of heavy-duty industrial equipment.
