What is the heat treatment process for Monel 400 alloy?
Annealing heat treatment temperatures for Monel 400 alloy are generally between 700 and 900°C (1300 and 1650°F), with a recommended temperature of approximately 825°C (1510°F). Rapid air cooling or water quenching is recommended for improved corrosion resistance.
