Learn about Inconel 718 alloy round bar
Inconel 718 round bar (or Alloy 718) is an age-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy bar valued for its high tensile, fatigue, fracture, and creep strengths up to 1300°F (704°C), as well as its oxidation resistance up to 1800°F (982°C). It also offers excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability due to its low carbon content, and exceptional performance at low temperatures. Inconel 718 round bar is widely used in demanding applications such as aerospace fasteners, aircraft components, and chemical processing.
What is the composition of Inconel 718 round bar?
Inconel 718 round bar is a nickel-chromium alloy bar with a nickel content of up to 55%. It also contains 17% chromium, 4.9% niobium, at least 6.6% iron, as well as aluminum, boron, carbon, cobalt, copper, manganese, phosphorus, lead, sulfur, and silicon.

Gnee Steel specializes in the production of various nickel-based alloys. Gnee Steel's product packaging includes steel strapping: Pipes with an outer diameter of 3 inches or less are typically strapped together with polypropylene film to prevent rust during sea transportation, and then secured with steel strapping. Wooden boxes/crates: Pipes are typically packaged in wooden boxes or crates to protect them during transportation, especially those that are longer or have larger diameters. Seaworthy export packaging: Suppliers typically use standard seaworthy export packaging methods, which may include a variety of materials and techniques to protect the pipes during transportation. Tarpaulin packaging: This prevents rainwater, seawater, and other external factors from penetrating the export wooden crates during transportation. Gnee Steel specializes in the production and sale of alloy materials. Gnee Steel's products are widely used in aerospace, chemical, power, automotive, and nuclear energy industries, and we can provide customized alloy material solutions based on customer needs.
