Monel K500 seamless pipe (ASME SB165 standard) is a high-performance pipe made of nickel-copper alloy system, which achieves the perfect balance of strength and corrosion resistance through unique aging hardening process. The pipe is based on nickel (≥63%) and copper (27-33%), with aluminum (2.3-3.15%) and titanium (0.35-0.85%) added to form γ' strengthening phase. After solution treatment (980-1030℃) and aging hardening (480-620℃/4-16h), the tensile strength can reach 1034-1241MPa, the yield strength ≥758MPa, and the elongation can be maintained at more than 15%. Its excellent performance is reflected in three aspects: 1) It maintains excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments such as seawater and hydrofluoric acid, especially its resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion is better than most stainless steels; 2) After aging treatment, the hardness reaches HRC 25-35, with excellent wear resistance and cavitation resistance; 3) Through the process combination of cold working + aging, flexible regulation of strength and plasticity can be achieved. The ASME SB165 standard ensures that the pipe has stricter dimensional tolerances (outer diameter ±0.1mm, wall thickness ±10%) and purity requirements (S≤0.01%), which is particularly suitable for key pressure-bearing systems such as nuclear power equipment (evaporator heat transfer tubes), offshore platforms (hydraulic system pipelines) and chemical equipment (high-pressure reactor pipelines). The pipe surface can be pickled (No.1), polished (Ra≤0.8μm) or passivated, supporting customized diameter (6-300mm) and wall thickness (0.5-20mm) specifications, and can be tested by NDT (ultrasonic/eddy current) to ensure quality consistency.
