Monel ASTM B164 K500 is a nickel-copper alloy bar that is age-hardened from Monel 400 with the addition of aluminum and titanium to significantly increase strength, hardness and wear resistance while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance. The material is stable in seawater, acidic environments, and high temperature and pressure conditions, and has good machinability and weldability. Typical applications include marine engineering components (such as pump shafts, valves), petrochemical equipment, and aerospace fasteners, suitable for areas that require both high mechanical strength and resistance to harsh corrosive environments.
