For applications requiring superior high-temperature oxidation resistance, such as furnace components and radiant tubes, choose Inconel 601 sheet metal. For applications where high-temperature corrosion resistance and high strength are critical, but oxidation resistance requirements are not high, such as petrochemical equipment or nuclear reactors, choose Inconel 600 alloy sheet metal.

What are the applications of Inconel 601 alloy?

In industrial furnaces, this alloy is used to manufacture radiant tubes, furnace chambers, rotary kilns, flame shields, annealing tubes, woven conveyor belts, chain curtains, burner nozzles, and resistance heating elements.
