Incoloy Alloy UNS N08811 Pickling Plate
Incoloy UNS N08811 plate is an iron-nickel-chromium high-temperature alloy designed for high-temperature corrosive environments with excellent oxidation resistance and carburization resistance. The typical composition of the alloy is 32-35% nickel, 19-23% chromium, and the balance of iron, with trace amounts of aluminum and titanium (Al+Ti≤0.85%) added to form a stable oxide film, which allows it to maintain structural integrity at extreme temperatures up to 1150°C. The material achieves a tensile strength of 480-690MPa and an elongation of 30-45% through a solid solution strengthening mechanism, combining high-temperature strength with hot and cold processing properties. Its special combination of ingredients gives it excellent resistance to carburization, sulfidation, and chloride stress corrosion, and it performs outstandingly in carbon/sulfur atmospheres such as cracking furnaces and heat treatment equipment. Plates that meet ASTM B409 standards are widely used in high-temperature pressure-bearing components such as petrochemical cracking furnace tubes, heat treatment muffles, and industrial furnace radiation tubes, and are particularly suitable for harsh working conditions such as ethylene production and hydrogen production where high-temperature corrosion and thermal cycles exist.
