For example, it has higher corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Incoloy 800H plates also have various other mechanical properties such as excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization and sulfidation. The added carbon element along with annealing also improves the creep rupture strength of Inconel 800h plates. They also have good machinability, which means that ASTM B409 UNS N08810 can be machined using standard techniques. It can also be easily welded using the product in high temperature environments. At moderate temperatures, SB 409 N08810 material has good resistance to aqueous corrosion.
