Incoloy Alloy UNS N08825 Pickling Plate
Incoloy UNS N08825 pickled plate is a nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy corrosion-resistant material. After pickling, the surface is uniformly matte (Ra 0.8-3.2μm), and it has excellent resistance to general corrosion and local corrosion. The typical composition of this alloy is 38-46% nickel, 19.5-23.5% chromium, 2.5-3.5% molybdenum, and 1.5-3.0% copper. It is stabilized by adding titanium (≥0.6%), which makes it show excellent corrosion resistance in reducing media such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid and chloride environments, especially pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The pickling process effectively removes the surface oxide layer, so that the material has more stable fusion performance during welding and processing of chemical equipment. The plate has a tensile strength of 550-690MPa and an elongation of 30-45%. It can be formed through conventional hot and cold processing and is widely used in the manufacture of corrosion-resistant structural parts in the fields of petrochemicals (flue gas desulfurization systems, pickling equipment), marine engineering (seawater pipelines), nuclear power (spent fuel treatment), etc. It is an ideal solution for extreme corrosive environments such as strong acids and high-temperature halides.
