Incoloy 800HT Seamless Tubes, also known as WNR 1.4959 Seamless Tubes, offer excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing corrosive environments such as nitric acid or nitric-sulfuric acid. Likewise, they perform well in sodium and other molten salt environments, where their resistance to stress corrosion cracking exceeds that of standard austenitic stainless steels. While Alloy 800 is typically used at temperatures below 600 degrees Celsius, UNS N08811 Seamless Tubes are recommended for applications requiring excellent creep properties at higher temperatures.
