Incoloy alloy is an iron-chromium-based nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy. It has good corrosion resistance in reducing acids and oxidizing acids, as well as good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion. Applications Commonly used materials in chemistry, petrochemical industry, nuclear industry and rare metal refining include incoloy 800, incoloy 825, incoloy 926, etc.
Incoloy 800 is a Fe-Ni-Cr-based solid solution-strengthened deformation high-temperature corrosion-resistant alloy. It is used below 1000°C. Incoloy800 has excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance and good process performance, good structural stability, and good processing and welding properties. It is easy to form using both hot and cold processing, and is suitable for making parts under harsh corrosive media conditions and requiring high temperature and long-term operation.

Performance Of Gnee Steel Incoloy Alloy 800 Sheet
Plasticity and processability
The processing properties of hot working and cooling are generally the same as austenitic steels. Thermal processing temperature is 1000~1230℃, and simple processing can be carried out below 850℃. However, cracking may occur in the temperature range of 650 to 850°C, so be sure to avoid it. The cold workability is exactly the same as that of austenitic stainless steel, but the work hardening properties are slightly lower than that of austenitic stainless steel.
Weldability
Welding is the same as standard austenitic stainless steel, and can be TIG welding, MIG welding and manual arc welding.
High temperature characteristics
Due to its high Ni and Cr content, it has high resistance to oxidation and carburization in high temperature environments. Its oxidation resistance is better than SUS 310S and even close to NAS 600. The high temperature strength is basically the same as NAS 600. During use, the σ phase will not precipitate and cause embrittlement, and it is widely used in heat-resistant materials.
Generally used in the temperature range below 600℃. If it is used at higher temperatures and has requirements for creep performance, it is recommended to use NAS 800H/NAS 800T.
Corrosion resistance
It has good corrosion resistance in oxidative corrosive environments such as nitric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid mixtures, and molten salts such as soda salt, and is more sensitive to stress corrosion cracking than standard austenitic stainless steel.
