Product Introduction

UNS N10665 is a solution-strengthened solid alloy steel grade. The UNS N10665 Plate is composed of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, copper, and other alloys, giving it excellent resistance to stress and general corrosion. These plates are resistant to pitting caused by chloride or phosphoric acids. The robust UNS N10665 Alloy B2 Cold Rolled Plate is also resistant to hydrochloric acids at various temperatures.

UNS N10665 Alloy B2 Plate Features:
  • Resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures.
  • Significant resistance to reducing conditions such as hydrogen chloride, sulfuric, acetic, and phosphoric acids.
  • Great resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting.
  • Excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
  • Excellent resistance to knife-line and heat-affected zone attack.
  • Maintains excellent ductility during transient exposures to intermediate temperatures.
Applications Of uNS N10665

UNS N10665 is used in a wide range of applications in the chemical process industry, especially for processes involving sulphuric, hydrochloric, phosphoric and acetic acid. UNS N10665 is not recommended for use in the presence of ferric or cupric salts as these salts may cause rapid corrosion failure. Ferric or cupric salts may develop when hydrochloric acid comes in contact with iron or copper.
