UNS N06022 is one of the well-known and well-proven nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials, the chief attributes of which are resistance to both oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and protection from pitting, crevice attack, and stress corrosion cracking. Its high chromium content provides much higher resistance to oxidizing media than the family standard, C-276 alloy, and imparts exceptional resistance to chloride-induced pitting.

UNS N06022 is an austenitic superalloy grade. The UNS N06022 Plate is a nickel, chromium, and molybdenum alloy designed for excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The UNS N06022 Alloy C22 Plate offers outstanding resistance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. These plates also exhibit good tolerance to oxidative media and reducing conditions. The UNS N06022 Hot Rolled Plate is known for its good formability and machinability. Carbide tools are typically used to mill or turn the material with conventional coolants. A Hastelloy Alloy UNS N06022 Cold Rolled Plate can be readily welded, resisting the formation of grain-boundary precipitates.
