Grade 5 titanium alloy rod (titanium aluminum vanadium alloy) is the most commonly used α-β titanium alloy, accounting for 50% of the total titanium alloy usage worldwide. One of the most notable features of grade 5 titanium alloy is that it is fully heat treatable and can be used at temperatures up to 400°C.Grade 5 titanium alloy has high tensile strength at ambient temperature and good creep resistance at temperatures up to 300°C. It also has strong crack resistance and fatigue resistance. The age-hardening ability of 6AL-4V titanium alloy rod makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications, including fasteners and components in harsh environments. Its high machinability and weldability make it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
