Product Introduction

GH4037 (GH37) alloy is an austenite-type age-hardened nickel-based alloy. It is added with a total of about 4% aluminum and titanium to generate γ phase for age-hardening, and more tungsten and molybdenum are added for solid solution strengthening. A trace amount of boron is also added to strengthen the grain boundary. The alloy is used below 850℃, has high thermal strength, good comprehensive performance and organizational stability, and is widely used in the manufacture of aircraft engine turbine blades. It is used for a long time below 800-850℃.

GH4037 Superalloy

Preparation process of Superalloy GH4037

The preparation process of GH4037 alloy mainly includes smelting, casting, heat treatment and machining. During the smelting process, the composition of the alloy and the temperature of the molten pool should be controlled so that the alloy has good chemical composition and uniform microstructure. During the casting process, the casting temperature and cooling rate should be controlled to avoid cracks and residual stress of the alloy. During the heat treatment process, the aging temperature and aging time should be controlled to obtain ideal alloy properties. Finally, the alloy is made into the desired shape and size through machining.

Application fields of GH4037 alloy

Due to its excellent high temperature performance and corrosion resistance, GH4037 alloy is widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, petrochemical, energy and other fields. For example, in the aerospace field, GH4037 alloy can be used to manufacture high temperature parts such as turbine blades, combustion chambers and gas superchargers. In the shipbuilding field, GH4037 alloy can be used to manufacture corrosion-resistant ship plates and high temperature resistant steering wheels. In the petrochemical field, GH4037 alloy can be used to manufacture reactors and catalysts. In the energy field, GH4037 alloy can be used to manufacture high temperature heat exchangers and gas turbine generator sets.
