Nickel GH3030 Superalloy Description

GH3030 is a solid-solution strengthened high-temperature alloy primarily composed of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), with a simple chemical composition. Its typical composition is 80% nickel and 20% chromium. This alloy exhibits good thermal strength and high ductility below 800°C, along with excellent oxidation resistance, thermal fatigue resistance, cold stamping performance, and weldability.
After solution treatment, GH3030 has a single-phase austenitic structure, which remains stable during use. The main applications of this alloy include turbine engine combustion chamber components, high-temperature vessels, structural components, and thermocouple protection tubes. Due to its ability to operate stably for extended periods in high-temperature environments, it is also widely used in aerospace, petroleum, chemical, and nuclear industries.

FAQ
Q1: What is GH3030 equivalent grade & its maximum service temperature?
A: GH3030 equivalent to Nimonic 75 (UNS N06075) and Russian XH78T ЭИ435. Long-term stable working temp ≤800℃, short peak 830℃. It is single solid-solution alloy, only single solution heat treatment needed, no aging required, with the best cold forming ductility among GH30 series alloys, low cost for low-load medium-temperature static parts.
Q2: What three finished products can you supply? What sizes are in stock?
A: 1. GH3030 Round Bar Φ10~500mm, black/peeled/ground surface 2. GH30 Sheet 0.05~12mm, width 1000/1219/1500, 2B/BA/No.1/sand blast 3. GH3030 Seamless Tube OD10~320, wall 0.5~25mm We support laser cutting, fixed-length cutting, tube flanging customization.
Q3: What's the difference between VIM single melting and VIM+ESR double melting GH3030?
A: 1. Single VIM industrial grade: For ordinary furnace, chemical equipment, basic UT inspection, lower price 2. VIM+ESR aviation/nuclear grade: Eliminate segregation & low-melting impurities, 100% UT+MT+LPI Class A NDT, full dual-use export documents, mandatory for aerospace & nuclear tender projects.
Q4: Which sheet surface is most popular for global bulk orders?
A: 2B annealed pickled matte finish accounts for 70% export bulk orders, balance cost, stamping and weldability, ideal for furnace liners and engine low-temp thin parts. BA bright sheet for semiconductor ultra-clean equipment.
Q5: What impurity limits do you control to avoid customer stamping & welding failure?
A: Strictly control S≤0.010%, P≤0.012%, Fe≤1.2%, far stricter than GB standard S/P≤0.04. Low impurity eliminates welding hot crack and sheet cracking during mass stamping.
Q6 What mechanical & oxidation test data can be attached to MTC certificate?
A: Full room & 700/800℃ tensile test data, metallographic report, 800℃ oxidation weight gain test, full NDT flaw record for each batch.
Q7 Main global industries & core GH3030 end parts?
Aerospace: Low-temperature combustion liners, engine support brackets, lightweight fasteners
Industrial Furnace: Integral furnace lining, radiant tubes, heat treatment fixtures
Petrochemical: High-temperature reactor liners, anti-oxidation pipeline supports
Nuclear Energy: Medium-temperature structural small components
Semiconductor: Diffusion furnace thin shielding sheets
