Inconel 718 fasteners are high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium superalloy fasteners widely used in extreme environments such as aerospace and oil and gas. The alloy's high strength stems from a precipitation hardening process that forms strong precipitates within the nickel matrix using niobium, titanium, and aluminum. Inconel 718 fasteners are valued for their excellent tensile, fatigue, and creep strength at high temperatures (up to 700°C/1300°F), good weldability, and resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

What is the strength of Inconel 718 bolts?

Twice as strong as its sister alloy, Inconel 625, Inconel 718 bolts are known for their exceptionally high strength after age hardening (185-220 ksi tensile strength). Inconel 718 bolts maintain their strength even when subjected to pressure and temperatures up to 1300°F (700°C).
