Alloy 800 (N08810) is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy designed as a more economical alternative to nickel-chromium-iron alloys. Nickel and chromium improve its resistance to oxidation, carburization, nitridation, and chlorination. Alloy 800 also contains aluminum and titanium, which act as age-hardening components, improving the alloy's resistance to sulfidation and oxidation. However, it should be noted that the aluminum and titanium content is quite low, and alloys with higher aluminum content exhibit significantly better corrosion resistance. This alloy should not be used at temperatures exceeding 650°C.

 

N08810 / Alloy 800H is a variant of Alloy 800 with improved high-temperature mechanical properties, allowing its use at temperatures above 650°C.

 

N08811 / Alloy 800HT is an improved version of Alloy 800 with higher minimum levels of aluminum and titanium. It features improved high-temperature strength, heat resistance, and creep resistance.
