On June 3, we shipped 2 tons of Inconel 625 pipes to our customers in Kazakhstan. We adopted the milling surface treatment method to achieve perfect size and appearance.
First, the customer had a tight delivery schedule and wanted us to shorten the delivery time. After careful consideration, we promised to shorten the delivery time for the customer by 10 days. We knew that the actual delivery time could be shorter, but we wanted to leave some leeway. This would protect our reputation and that of the customer. In the end, we were able to complete the delivery 10 days ahead of schedule.
Second, the material is produced using a forging process. This process has a large dimensional tolerance. To minimize the dimensional tolerance, we used a milling surface treatment. This can take into account both dimensional accuracy and appearance.
In addition, Inconel 625 specifies two delivery states in the standard: Grade I (annealed) and Grade II (solution annealed). The customer required the material to be delivered in Grade I state. We were able to meet this requirement.
