GH3030 Nickel-chromium Alloy Bars For High-temperature Industrial Applications

In high-precision heat treatment, the "fire zone" harbors numerous hidden costs. For furnace manufacturers and maintenance managers, key pain points when using standard heat-resistant steels (such as 310S or 309) include:

Oxidation spalling: At temperatures above 700°C, brittle oxide scale can detach from radiant tubes or rollers. This scale settles on workpieces, causing surface pitting and high scrap rates.

Thermal sagging: Lower-grade alloys warp and sag under load, leading to conveyor blockages and costly emergency shutdowns.

At Gnee Alloy, we eliminate these risks. Our industrial-grade GH3030 bars provide a zero-pollution environment, maximizing material lifespan and ensuring structural integrity.

GH3030 nickel-chromium alloy bars for high-temperature industrial applications

GH3030 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-chromium-based superalloy (containing approximately 80% nickel and 20% chromium) specifically designed to enhance oxidation resistance and high-temperature thermal stability. GH3030 alloy bars exhibit excellent mechanical strength and ductility at temperatures up to 800°C and outstanding oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1100°C.

02.

What are the components of GH3030?

GH3030 is a solid solution strengthened high-temperature alloy, mainly composed of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), with a simple chemical composition. Its typical ratio is 80% nickel and 20% chromium.

FAQ

Q1: Can GH3030 replace 310S (2520) in my furnace radiant tubes?
A: Yes, and it is a significant upgrade. While 310S is cheaper, its oxide layer is brittle and prone to flaking above 800°C. GH3030's adherent scale eliminates product contamination and offers better creep resistance at heat.

Q2: Is GH3030 easy to weld into furnace assemblies?
A: Absolutely. GH3030 is one of the most "Weld-Friendly" superalloys. It does not require complex post-weld heat treatment for static furnace parts, significantly reducing your Custom Fabrication costs.

Q3: How do you protect the bars from surface contamination during shipping?
A: Every rod is coated with a protective oil, wrapped in waterproof plastic, and packed in reinforced wooden crates to ensure your material arrives ready for installation.

Q4: Do you support small trial orders for maintenance repairs?
A: Yes. As a Reliable Supplier, we support Innovation and MRO projects. We offer Flexible MOQs on our in-stock inventory of standard diameters
