Cold rolled Inconel 625 alloy steel plate
Cold-rolled Inconel 625 plate is a high-strength nickel-based superalloy known for its exceptional corrosion, oxidation, and high-temperature resistance, as well as excellent toughness and fatigue strength. Cold working imparts excellent dimensional accuracy and surface finish, making it suitable for a variety of demanding applications, including chemical processing, marine applications, and high-performance components in the aerospace and nuclear sectors.
What is the maximum operating temperature of Inconel 625?
Alloy 625 is a non-magnetic, corrosion- and oxidation-resistant nickel-based alloy. Its excellent performance from cryogenic temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C) is primarily due to the solid solution effect of the refractory metals niobium and molybdenum in the nickel-chromium matrix.

The ASTM B443 standard covers a variety of nickel-base alloys produced in plate, sheet, or strip form. Specifically, the standard covers a rolled nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy, designated UNS No. N06625. ASTM B443 Alloy 625 plate may also be referred to as UNS No. N06625. Alloy Specification SB 443 Inconel 625 plate must be supplied in two different heat-treated conditions. Grade 1 indicates the alloy must be annealed, while Grade 2 indicates that ASTM B443 Inconel coil must be solution annealed. Sampling and testing of Alloy 625 plate is required according to the ASTM B443 standard.
