Monel weld neck flanges are made of a nickel-copper alloy that offers high strength, hardness and good rust resistance over a wide heating range. Monel weld neck flanges have excellent resistance to sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. If the product is not cleaned after welding, there is a risk of embrittlement and contamination.
