Monel cold rolled 400 sheet
Monel 400 sheet is a metal sheet made of a copper-nickel alloy. The material has good ductility and is resistant to a wide range of corrosive media. The material also has a high service temperature, from cryogenic to 1000°F. Monel 400 sheet also has good resistance to pitting corrosion. The mechanical properties vary depending on the cold or hot rolling process. These sheets meet the ASTM B127 specification and are available in a wide range of sizes.
Nickel Alloy 400 sheets are available in lengths ranging from 200 mm to 6000 mm, widths ranging from 1000 mm to 2000 mm, and thicknesses ranging from 0.3 mm to 20 mm. The material is also very hard, with a hardness of NACE MR 175 grade. Monel 400 sheets are available in different surface finishes such as hot rolled or cold rolled surface finish. The material supports cutting, forming, grinding, and polishing operations. The chemical composition of the material includes 63% nickel, iron, 28% copper, carbon, manganese, silicon, and sulfur.
