2.4360 401 stainless steel Pipe
2.4360 is a nickel-copper alloy that is resistant to high-temperature seawater and steam as well as salt and caustic alkali solutions. It is a nickel-copper alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of media. It has the characteristics of good general corrosion resistance, good weldability, good ductility, good thermal conductivity and medium to high strength. This alloy has been used in a variety of applications. It has excellent resistance to fast flowing brackish or sea water. When degassed, it is particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids. The alloy is slightly magnetic at room temperature. 2.4360 is widely used in the chemical, petroleum and marine industries.
Monel 401 alloy (UNS N04401) is a nickel-based alloy similar to Monel 400 with a very low Curie temperature, very low magnetic properties and good brazing properties. An important feature of this alloy is that it generally does not produce stress corrosion cracking and has good cutting performance. The alloy is mainly used in valve stems, pump shafts and impellers, conveyor scrapers, oil well drill rings, elastic parts, valve gaskets, etc.
