What is the material number for Inconel 600?

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy with good high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, as well as excellent cold and hot processing and welding performance.

The corresponding grade of Inconel 600 in European standards is 2.4816, which is suitable for the manufacture of equipment in various chemical and high temperature environments.
In Chinese standards, the grade of Inconel 600 is usually GH600, which is mainly used for the manufacture of equipment and parts in high temperature and corrosive environments.
In Japanese industrial standards, the grade of Inconel 600 is NCF600, which is suitable for various engineering applications.

The chemical composition of Inconel 600 Alloy mainly includes elements such as nickel, chromium, and iron, with very low carbon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and silicon content. This alloy has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking at room temperature and high temperature, and also has good corrosion resistance to dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas.

Inconel 600 is widely used in various fields that require high temperature corrosion resistance, such as thermocouple sleeves in corrosive atmospheres, vinyl chloride monomer production, uranium oxidation conversion to hexafluoride, production and use of corrosive alkali metals, nuclear reactors, catalytic regenerators in petrochemical production, etc.
