Processing state
Soft state (annealed state): After annealing, the hardness of Inconel 600 is lower, usually between 170-190HB, with good plasticity and machinability. Hard state (cold rolled state): After cold rolling, the hardness of Inconel 600 is higher, which can reach 220HB, with high mechanical strength and wear resistance.
Physical properties
Hardness: The hardness of soft Inconel600 is between 170-190HB, while the hardness of hard state reaches 220HB. Creep resistance: Inconel600 exhibits excellent creep resistance at high temperature. The creep rate of both soft and hard states at high temperature is low, but the creep performance of hard state at high temperature is better. Corrosion resistance: Inconel600 has good corrosion resistance at high temperature, and the corrosion resistance of soft and hard states is similar.
Application scenarios
Soft state: Suitable for situations that require good plasticity and machinability, such as the manufacture of complex-shaped parts.
Hard state: Suitable for situations that require high strength and wear resistance, such as long-term work in high temperature and corrosive environments.
