INCONEL 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy with good high temperature corrosion resistance (acid and alkali resistance) and oxidation resistance, excellent cold and hot processing and welding process performance, and satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700°C. Hastelloy C-276 is a tungsten-containing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with low silicon and carbon content, and is considered to be a relatively good corrosion resistant alloy
Hastelloy C-276 similar grades:
W.Nr.2.4819 NiMo16Cr15W (Germany) NC17D (France)
Hastelloy C-276 process performance and requirements:
1. The lower the sulfur content in the hot processing fuel, the better. The sulfur content in natural gas should be less than 0.1%, and the sulfur content in heavy oil should be less than 0.5%.
2. The hot working temperature range of the alloy is 1200℃~950℃, and the cooling method is water cooling or rapid air cooling.
3. Suitable for welding using any traditional welding process, such as tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, and melt inert gas shielded welding.

Inconel 600 has the following characteristics:
1. It has good resistance to corrosion by reducing, oxidizing, and nitriding media
2. It has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking at room temperature and high temperature
3. It has good resistance to dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas corrosion
4. It has good mechanical properties at sub-zero, room temperature and high temperature
5. It has good creep rupture strength and is recommended for working environments above 700℃.
