Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT round bars are nickel-iron-chromium alloy bars suitable for high-temperature applications, offering excellent oxidation and carburization resistance, but with varying carbon content. The 800H and 800HT alloy bars have higher carbon content for improved creep strength; the 800HT bars also contain titanium and aluminum additions for superior performance at temperatures up to approximately 925°C. What is 800HT material?

Nickel alloy 800H/800HT bars, rods, and wires are a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that exhibits high strength at elevated temperatures and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization. They also demonstrate excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of aqueous environments.

Their core characteristic is excellent resistance to creep, carburization, and high-temperature oxidation at temperatures up to approximately 815°C, while maintaining good strength and thermal stability. They are specifically used in the manufacture and processing of critical pressure-bearing components in extreme environments requiring long-term exposure to high temperatures, high pressures, and thermal cycling, such as petrochemical cracking furnace tubes, high-temperature heat exchangers, industrial heaters, and nuclear power steam generators. They are a high-performance raw material for high-temperature creep resistance applications.
