Incoloy 825 welded pipe is a widely used nickel-iron-chromium alloy. Its United Nations (UNS) designation is N08825, and its German standard is 2.4858. It is renowned for its excellent resistance to a wide range of acids (both oxidizing and reducing) and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Available in both seamless and welded versions, and conforming to standards such as ASTM B423, Incoloy 825 pipe is widely used in demanding applications such as chemical processing, oil and gas recovery, and nuclear fuel reprocessing due to its high mechanical strength and thermal stability.

What is Incoloy 825 alloy made of?

Inconel 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with the following chemical composition: nickel (Ni) 38.0-46.0%, iron (Fe) at least 22.0%, chromium (Cr) 19.5-23.5%, molybdenum (Mo) 2.5-3.5%, copper (Cu) 1.5-3.0%, and titanium (Ti) 0.6-1.2%. It also contains carbon (C) 0.05%, manganese (Mn) 1.0%, silicon (Si) 0.5%, aluminum (Al) 0.2%, and sulfur (S) 0.03%.
