incoloy 800ht chemical composition

Incoloy 800HT is a high-carbon, titanium-aluminum stabilized upgrade of the Incoloy 800 series. Its core characteristic is the precise control of carbon, aluminum, and titanium content, providing optimal creep resistance, carburization resistance, and high-temperature oxidation resistance at temperatures up to approximately 815°C, while also possessing extremely high high-temperature strength and long-term stability. It is specifically designed for extreme environments requiring long-term exposure to high temperatures, high pressures, and thermal cycling, such as petrochemical cracking furnace tubes, industrial heaters, high-temperature heat exchangers, and nuclear power plant steam generators. It is particularly suitable for critical applications involving high-temperature stress rupture and creep, making it a top-tier alloy choice for high-temperature pressure-bearing components.

What is INCOLOY 800HT?

Incoloy 800HT is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy and an improved version of the 800 alloy. It possesses high creep rupture strength.

INCOLOY 800HT

800HT alloy/Incoloy 800HT is a compositionally controlled derivative alloy of INCOLOY 800H alloy (UNS N08810), used in the same creep-resistant applications. However, the combined effects of its mechanical processing and heat treatment allow it to withstand higher design stresses than conventional alloys.

Main Characteristics
Strengthening:
Controlled carbon, aluminum, and titanium content, combined with a specific high-temperature annealing process, gives Alloy 800HT excellent creep rupture strength.
Corrosion Resistance: High nickel and chromium content provides excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments.
Identification: Also known as UNS N08811, it is an upgraded version of Alloy 800, designed to provide higher strength at extremely high temperatures.
