ASTM B622 Hastelloy C276 Nickel Alloy Oxidation Resistant Seamless Pipe
ASTM B622 Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-based alloy seamless pipe renowned for its exceptional corrosion and heat resistance, as well as its adaptability to a variety of harsh environments. Key features include high nickel, molybdenum, and chromium contents, which provide excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. Its low carbon content also makes it highly weldable and effectively suppresses the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the heat-affected zone.


What are the advantages of Hastelloy C276?
Hastelloy C276 alloy offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemical environments. It is one of the few alloys resistant to wet chloride gases, hypochlorites, and chlorine dioxide solutions. Hastelloy C276 also exhibits excellent resistance to solutions of strong oxidizing salts, such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride.
