Inconel 718 alloy plate

About the properties of Inconel 718 alloy plate
Inconel 718 plate offers high strength at both high and low temperatures, excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, good weldability, and is non-magnetic and spark-resistant. This nickel-based superalloy is age-hardenable and can be significantly strengthened through precipitation heat treatment without adversely affecting welding or annealing. Its unique properties make it an ideal choice for extreme environments such as aerospace components, high-temperature fasteners, and jet engine parts.
What are the properties of Inconel 718?
Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing significant amounts of iron, niobium, and molybdenum, along with smaller amounts of aluminum and titanium. It combines corrosion resistance with high strength and excellent weldability, including resistance to post-weld cracking.
