Inconel 600 welding rod is a nickel-chromium alloy (Ni-Cr-Fe) welding material, specially designed to match Inconel 600 substrate, in accordance with AWS A5.14 ERNiCrFe-7 standard. Its nickel content is ≥72%, chromium is 14-17%, and it has excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance (up to 1100℃), resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion and organic acid and alkali corrosion. The welding rod is available in two forms: straight bars (1.6-5.0mm) and coiled wires (0.8-2.0mm), suitable for TIG, MIG and SAW processes, with welded joint strength ≥550MPa and elongation ≥30%. It is typically used in chemical equipment repair, nuclear power evaporator pipeline welding, boiler high-temperature component maintenance and aerospace heat-resistant component manufacturing. No preheating is required after welding (normal working conditions), but it is recommended to perform 1010-1150℃ solid solution treatment on key components to optimize performance.
