Inconel UNS N06690 Cold Drawn Bright Annealed Seamless Tube is a high performance nickel-chromium alloy product manufactured by cold drawing and bright annealing process, which has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. This advanced material has a balanced composition (Ni≥58%, Cr 27-31%, Fe 7-11%), designed for severe high temperature and corrosive environments. The tube performs well in chloride and alkaline environments, has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC), and also performs well in acidic conditions such as nitric, phosphoric and sulfuric acids. Its high chromium content gives it excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1100°C, while maintaining good mechanical strength (typical tensile strength ≥550 MPa, yield strength ≥240 MPa) over a wide temperature range from cryogenic to elevated temperatures. The cold-drawn manufacturing process ensures precise dimensional control (OD tolerance ±0.05 mm) and excellent surface finish (Ra ≤ 0.8 μm), making these tubes ideal for critical applications such as nuclear steam generators, chemical processing equipment, heat exchangers, and pollution control systems. Bright annealing optimizes corrosion resistance and ductility (elongation ≥ 30%), while the material's excellent processing properties enable welding (using ENiCrFe-7 filler) and forming operations. These tubes meet strict quality standards including ASTM B163 and ASME SB163, and are optionally available with NACE MR0175 certification for sour service applications in the oil and gas industry.
