INCONEL Alloy 690 (UNS N06690 / W.Nr. 2.4642) is a high-chromium-nickel alloy with excellent corrosion resistance to many corrosive aqueous media and high-temperature atmospheres. In addition to corrosion resistance, 690 alloy has high strength, good metallurgical stability and favorable processing characteristics.A very common nickel alloy product, Inconel 690 plate is formed by flattening and shearing cold rolled coil.Inconel 690 cold rolled sheet is typically less than 5 mm thick. Unlike plate, Inconel 690 sheet has a brighter surface.Inconel 690 sheet has high strength and good creep resistance at all temperatures. It is more resistant to fatigue than ordinary alloy plates. In addition, oxidation resistance is one of its excellent properties.
