Incoloy 690 pickled plate is a nickel-based alloy with high chromium content (Ni≥58%, Cr 28-31%). After hot-rolled pickling (HRAP) treatment, the surface is uniformly matte (Ra 0.8-3.2μm), and it performs well in high temperature and strong corrosive environments. Designed with high chromium content, this material exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing media (such as nitric acid) and caustic environments, especially with strong resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC). It is the designated material for nuclear power plant steam generator tube sheets. The pickling process effectively removes the surface oxide layer, significantly improving the welding quality and subsequent processing performance. The plate has a tensile strength of 550-760MPa and an elongation of 30-45%, and has good hot and cold processing performance and weldability (supports TIG/MIG welding). It is mainly used in extreme corrosive environments such as key equipment in nuclear power plants (steam generators, nuclear waste containers), chemical high-pressure reactors, flue gas desulfurization systems, etc. It is particularly suitable for the manufacture of corrosion-resistant structural parts that need to work in high-temperature and high-pressure water media for a long time. The operating temperature range covers -200°C to +1177°C, which is an ideal solution for the energy and chemical industries to cope with severe corrosive conditions.
