Specification of Hastelloy UNS N06002 Sheet

UNS N06002 Plate is non-magnetic. It has high strength up to 1500ºF (816ºC) and good oxidation resistance up to 2200ºF (1204ºC). UNS N06002 Hot Rolled (HR) Sheet is especially resistant to carburization and nitriding, conditions which cause failure in some high temperature alloys. UNS N06002 Plate is used extensively in high temperature jet engine and chemical processing applications and is highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. Industrial furnace applications incorporate Hastelloy Steel Plate for its resistance to oxidizing and its ability to maintain good ductility after prolonged exposure to extremely high temperatures.
