Hastelloy X Bar has excellent strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures, making it suitable for demanding applications in extreme environments. It exhibits excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization and nitridation, even in highly corrosive and high temperature environments. The alloy also exhibits good mechanical properties, including high tensile and yield strengths, and good toughness.
