C103 Alloy Tube is a niobium-based alloy that is widely used in aerospace applications due to its excellent heat resistance, light weight, low cost, reliability, and ability to withstand strong vibrations and low temperatures. With a melting point of 2200 ± 30°C and a density of 0.15 lb/in3, the alloy is well suited for use in aerospace applications and in the manufacture of components for superheated thrusters and rocket engines. C103 Niobium Tube material is widely used in the manufacture of scramjet engine components.

C-103 Alloy Tube is produced by alloying niobium, hafnium, titanium, and zirconium into a very uniform ingot using a vacuum furnace, and then processed into plates, bars, blanks, custom parts, and other shapes as appropriate.
