What is the material alloy 601?
Alloy 601 / Inconel 601
INCONEL Alloy 601 is a nickel-based alloy with a high chromium content (approximately 25wt%) and the addition of aluminum, designed to resist high-temperature oxidizing atmospheres in the heat treatment of metals and materials. One of the most widely used thermowell jacketing materials and oxygen injection tubing in the metal and glass manufacturing industries.
About Alloy 601 / Inconel 601
Areas of use extend to industrial furnace stills and muffle furnaces, baskets, jigs and fixtures, wire annealed tubes, all produced from this excellent high temperature material.

This alloy tube has been used for many years in the production of ceramic tiles in the latest designs of roller hearth furnaces, as the material resists the high-temperature firing cycles and the corrosive effects of glazes and plasters on the tiles.
Alloy 601 can be used in a variety of applications
Containment rings in gas turbines
process heater
stripper
Air preheater
Catalyst regenerator
Combustion chamber of solid waste incinerator
Thermal Reactor in Gasoline Engine Exhaust System
grid barrier
Annealing/carburizing/carbonitriding/nitriding tray
Braided wire conveyor belt
