Monel Cold Rolled K500 Steel Bar
Monel K500 cold-rolled bar is a high-precision nickel-copper alloy bar made by cold working process. It further improves the dimensional accuracy and surface quality while retaining the excellent performance of Monel K500 alloy. The bar adopts nickel (≥63%)-copper (27-33%) matrix, and adds aluminum (2.3-3.15%) and titanium (0.35-0.85%) for aging strengthening. After cold rolling process, the diameter range is usually 5-50mm, and the dimensional tolerance can be accurately controlled within ±0.05mm. The cold rolling process makes the material have a finer grain structure, the tensile strength can reach 827-1172MPa, the yield strength can reach 690-1034MPa, while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance, especially suitable for harsh environments such as seawater and acidic media. The product surface can be treated with bright (BA) or polished (Ra≤0.8μm), which complies with international standards such as ASTM B865. It is widely used in precision instrument parts, chemical pump valve shafts, medical equipment and other fields that have strict requirements on dimensional accuracy and surface finish. The subsequent aging treatment (480-620℃/4-16h) can further improve the material strength to HRC 30-38 to meet the high performance requirements under different working conditions.
