Monel bushed hollow 400 Alloy Pipe
Monel 400 pipe is made of nickel alloy and has about 67% nickel in its composition. This material is extremely resistant to corrosion from seawater. Gnee Steel is a leading supplier and manufacturer of Monel 400 pipe products in large quantities and in a wide range of specifications. The material consists of carbon, aluminum, manganese, silicon, iron, sulfur, and 28% copper (nickel base). This composition gives Monel 400 pipe excellent mechanical and physical properties. The material has a minimum yield strength of 240MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 550MPa.
UNS N04400 pipe has a melting point of up to 1350 degrees Celsius, so it can be used in high temperature applications. The specifications for this grade of nickel-copper alloy are ASTM B165 and B725. It is available in seamless pipes, welded pipes, electric resistance welded pipes, and fabricated pipes. ASME SB165 Monel 400 seamless pipe meets ASTM, ASME and API standards and is available in nominal bore sizes ranging from 15" to 150".
