What is the strongest nickel alloy?

400 nickel alloy, also known as Monel alloy 400.
The chemical composition of Monel400 alloy is mainly composed of 30%Cu and 65%Ni plus a small amount of Fe (1%-2%), and the organizational structure is a typical single-phase austenite organization.
Monel400 is a high-strength single-phase solid solution. It is a corrosion-resistant alloy with the largest dosage and the most extensive application. It has excellent comprehensive performance. The alloy is in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium. It has excellent corrosion resistance and also has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkali solution.
Mechanical properties of Monel 400 (N04400) Monel alloy:
Monel 400 (N04400) Monel alloy tensile strength: σb≥450Mpa.
Monel 400 (N04400) Monel alloy yield strength: σb≥170Mpa.
Monel 400 (N04400) Monel alloy elongation: δ≥30%.
Corrosion resistance of N04400:
N04400 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in fluorine gas, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid and their derivatives. At the same time, it is more corrosion resistant than copper-based alloys in seawater.
In most water corrosion conditions, N04400 alloy not only has excellent corrosion resistance, but also rarely suffers from pitting corrosion and stress corrosion, with a corrosion rate of less than 0.025mm/a. The maximum temperature of N044000 working continuously in air is generally around 600℃, and in high-temperature steam, the corrosion rate is less than 0.026mm/a. Ammonia: Due to the high nickel content of N04400 alloy, it can resist corrosion under anhydrous ammonia and ammoniation conditions below 585℃.
Monel 400 (N04400) Monel alloy application areas:
Marine heat exchangers, seawater desalination equipment, salt production equipment, marine and chemical processing equipment, propeller shafts and water pumps, gasoline and water tanks, etc.
