GH4169 is a high-temperature alloy specified in the Chinese standard GB/T 14992, also known as the Chinese domestic grade of Inconel 718.
Different composition
GH4169 is a nickel-based high-temperature alloy, the main components of which are Ni, Cr, Co, Mo and other elements, among which the Ni content is relatively high, accounting for more than 50% of the total composition.
Inconel 718 is also a nickel-based high-temperature alloy, but its composition is different from GH4169. Inconel718 contains more Nb and Ti elements, as well as a small amount of Al and Ta elements.
Different high-temperature performance
GH4169 has excellent high-temperature performance, good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and can work for a long time in high-temperature environment. Its high-temperature strength and creep strength are high, and it has good processing performance and welding performance.
The high-temperature performance of Inconel 718 is also excellent, and its creep strength and oxidation resistance are slightly higher than GH4169, but there is still a certain gap compared with GH4169 in some aspects.
Different physical properties
GH4169 has a density of 8.2g/cm³, a melting point of 1260-1338℃, a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.0000000000068, and a Poisson's coefficient of 0.288.
The density of Inconel718 is 8.1g/cm³, a melting point of 1260-1338℃, a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.0000000000062, and a Poisson's coefficient of 0.283.
Different application fields
GH4169 is mainly used in aviation, aerospace, energy and other fields, such as the manufacture of key parts such as aero-engine blades, shaft parts, and fasteners.
Inconel718 is widely used in energy, chemical and other fields, such as oil drilling equipment, nuclear reactor structural parts, etc. In addition, Inconel718 can also be used to manufacture aero-engine shaft parts, blades, etc.
