What is the density of Inconel 625?

The density of Inconel 625 is 8.4 g/cm³. This is a high-performance high-temperature alloy with excellent resistance to inorganic acid corrosion and excellent corrosion resistance to various corrosive media in oxidizing and reducing environments.
The melting point range of Inconel 625 is 1290-1350°C. After solution treatment, its mechanical properties are good, such as tensile strength of 830 MPa (or 830 Rm N/mm²) and yield strength of 410 MPa (or 415 RP0.2 N/mm²).
Some special matters need to be paid attention to during the processing of Inconel 625 alloy, such as selecting suitable cutting tools, setting reasonable cutting parameters, using appropriate coolants, and performing necessary processing surface treatment to ensure processing efficiency and product quality.
In addition, Inconel 625 alloy has been widely used in aerospace, chemical industry, oil and gas and other fields, especially in extremely high temperature and high pressure environments. It performs well and is often used to manufacture key components such as combustion chamber components, turbine blades and exhaust system components of engines.

GNEE takes product quality very seriously and we use 3 levels to check the quality of materials like Duplex and Super Duplex Steel Pipes, Stainless Steel Round Bars, SS Bright Bars.
All the Nickel based alloy stocks held by GNEE are tested as per respective ASTM ASME standards and International Specifications like Norsok MDS, Shell MESC and ES-247.
We use NAMAS/UKAS approved testing agencies on a subcontract basis for any further testing requirements. We can arrange any third party testing as per the client's requirements.
